Our Buckling Fred

"Welcome to IronHorse Ranch & Dairy, where the bounty of nature is nurtured with care and brought fresh from our fields to your table. As the proud owner, Mary Clark, I'm delighted to share the fruits of our labor, including creamy raw goat milk, artisanal cheeses, luscious goat butter, and farm-fresh eggs. Our commitment extends to the well-being of our animals – our goats, rabbits, and chickens are raised with love, ensuring the highest quality products for your family. We also offer healthy and well-bred livestock for those looking to start or expand their own herds.

My connection to animals began in the scenic Pacific Northwest, sparked by my grandparents' horses at the tender age of six. Summers were an adventure, spent boating and fishing in the breathtaking San Juan Islands and camping in Eastern Washington. I learned the art of sailing on a 33' sailboat, navigating by compass, and shared in the joys of raising chickens and rabbits with my brothers. Horseback rides into town to visit friends and exploring the countryside were a regular delight, and I even had the honor of serving on the Queens Court at our local rodeo. My passion for horses led me to work on a ranch in Ocean Shores, where I guided beach rides, sharing my love and knowledge with locals and visitors alike.

My affection for goats blossomed during four wonderful years in Chileno Valley, CA, before my husband and I returned to Idaho in 2007, bringing our two horses, two goats, and six hens. By 2011, our animal family had grown, with three horses, nine goats, and two dozen hens, plus six rabbits. Though unforeseen circumstances led to downsizing in 2012, my heart was ready for a new beginning by 2015, when I welcomed two Saanen kids, Dirty Harry and Ruby Red – the foundation of the IronHorse herd. Since then, Harry and Ruby have moved on, and our current delightful herd includes Rusty, Belle, Rose, Dyna, and Ryder.

IronHorse Ranch is more than just a farm; it's a heartfelt tribute to my late husband's passion for motorcycles and my enduring love for horses. Here, we embrace the joys of ranch life, raising our goats, rabbits, and chickens alongside a thriving garden. We invite you to experience the unique charm of ranch living with us, where each day offers a beautiful blend of adventure and serenity."
